3 Actionable Steps to Improve your Life and Happiness

Time is the most precious asset that you have, for you will never be able to get it back. There's a quote that says "time is the best healer", and that is true. But there's a catch in that quote though, "time is the best healer, if you use it properly". You see, time is like a double edged sword, either it uses you, or you use it to develop yourself. Whether you are trying to achieve your goals or are still lost in life, in this article, we will provide you with valuable insights on how to improve your life dramatically.

The first thing that you need to do to improve your life is to ask yourself, "what do I want from this world?"

What is your "why"? Why are you here? Why did you wake up this morning? What gets you inspired?

To do that, first, you must develop your vision:

1. Develop Your Vision

A ship does not sail without the captain knowing where he wants to go.

At the end of the day, you are the captain of your ship -- your life. Where do you want to be five years from now? What is your health goals? Do you want to lose some weight?

When you don't have a vision or goals, life can be difficult. The path to success is unknown because you don't know where to sail the ship. Wandering aimlessly is something you want to avoid in life, and the way to do that is by setting goals.

There are so many people out there who are living without any meaningful goals -- they live for the sake of living. Don't be one of those people. Set some goals and achieve them. Write them down in your journal and read them every day. Remind yourself that there are so many things that life can offer.

2. Develop Growth Mindset

There's this famous book called "Mindset" by Carol Dweck, in which the author points out that the key differentiator between a world-class performer and an average person is the mindset that they have. Average people believe that they are born with fixed talent, intelligence, and skills; whereas world-class performers like Michael Jordan believes in growing their skills constantly, every single day.

These are the people who understand that the best way to grow is by learning new skills, honing their intelligence, and most importantly, never giving up. And this is the concept behind the growth mindset.

To develop a growth mindset, you have to ask yourself three questions:
1. What skills or abilities that I need to learn so that I achieve my goals?
2. Who are the experts in that field, and how can I model them?
3. What are the steps that I need to do to achieve them?

By asking these three questions, you will then realize that the possibilities are endless. And every time you face a setback, ask yourself: How can I learn and grow from this pain?

That one question will keep you moving forward, even in the most challenging circumstances. And when you believe that you can grow, the mind will make it happen.

Remember, there's a quote that says "what the mind can conceive, you can achieve". We couldn't agree more with that.

3. Take Massive Action

Now you have set your goals and developed a growth mindset. What do you need to do now? Of course, it's taking massive action!

The best way to keep yourself organized is by creating a to-do list. We recommend that you keep up to only three things that you want to get done every day. Write more than that, and you will be demoralized by the tasks you need to do. Keep up to three and achieve them. Anything more than that is a bonus, and it will motivate you.

Remember, all those goals and dreams you want to achieve will always be just dreams if you don't take any action.
