Shipping & customer service

Yes! We are delighted to announce that we ship to all of our customers regardless of where you live and your order price.

Most shipments arrive between 12 - 21 days. Please refer to our Shipping page for more information.

We do our best to reply to any questions, comments or issues as soon as possible and in most cases, within hours. We will do our best to get a reply out within 24 hours of all inquiries. Please note that we are not in the office on the weekends, so any inquiries made on the weekends will probably not get a reply until Monday.

We respond to customers or prospective customers only. We generally won't respond to vendor inquiries or solicitations. Also please be aware that we are not able to respond to sample requests at this time.

Order information & concerns

You can only change or cancel your order if and only if your order is not shipped. Please contact our customer service by emailing us contact@teathe1st.com along with your order ID.

Since all of our products are below $50 USD, most of our customers don't get taxes and duties on their orders. However, different countries have different policies, and you may be subject to import duties.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. The general amount for the duties and taxes fee is about 20% of the dollar amount of the merchandise. However, this is just a general guideline and may vary depending on the country to which the order was shipped. You should contact your customs office for specific amounts and percentages.

TEATHE1st cannot control and is not responsible for any duties/taxes applied to your package. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.

For Duties Delivered Paid (DDP) Orders: Duties and taxes may be included in the price depending on ship to country. If not included in the price, they will be shown at checkout.

For Duties Delivered Unpaid (DDU) Orders: As the customer, you are liable for all import duties, customs and taxes levied. Payment of these is required to release your order from customs on arrival.

All of our payments are done in USD, and the currency conversion will be done by your bank when you checkout. Our website's currency converter is only available to give you the approximate price in your local currency and may differ to the actual charge from your card.

If your order was unexpectedly cancelled, chances are that our fraud filter marked your order as fraudulent. If you are certain that that is not true, please order again with a Paypal account. If you do not have Paypal, you can easily sign up at www.Paypal.com

Product information

Our shelf life is 1 year from the date of the opening of the container, but we do recommend to consume it within 3 months for the best taste and quality.

Yes! Our teas are all gluten-free.

Yes, all of our teas and ingredients are all cruelty-free. We only test on your smoothies and lattes :)

No. Our teas are all pure and do not contain any dairy products

Keep in a dry and cool place. Keep away from the stove and do not store in the refrigerator or freezer. Also, keep away from other strong smell items.  Oxygen, moisture, and foreign aromas are all enemies to the delicate subtleness of tea.  It is important to store tea in an airtight container to protect them from exposure to light, humidity, and high temperatures.

Subscription

Savings! You will get a lower price by subscribing to our tea deliveries, as well as you can save your time and energy because all of your subscriptions are automated.

Subscription shipments depend upon the day that you subscribe. Our cutoff for subscriptions is the last day of the month. All subscriptions that are paid by the last day of the month will ship within the first week of the following month. In other words, if you subscribe on June 10, your first subscription package will ship within the first week of July. If you subscribe on June 30, your first subscription package will ship within the first week of July. If you subscribe on or after July 1, your first subscription package will ship within the first week of August.  

We are working hard to improve the shipment time of the subscriptions so that they ship before the first day of the month. Sometimes we're successful at achieving this goal, sometimes, we aren't. In the months where we ship before the first day of the month, only those subscriptions that are paid in full for the following month will be shipped. All other subscriptions will be fulfilled as payment clears. In other words, if you subscribed on June 30 and we're shipping on the 25th of the month, your package won't ship until your payment has cleared. 

Unfortunately, the e-commerce service that we've chosen to use at this time doesn't offer subscription capabilities.  We hope that this doesn't present too much of an inconvenience to our customers and we think that the savings that will come with the subscription will make the extra steps worth the effort!
